I am careful not to overdo RAW kale, spinach, cabbage, & other GOITROGENIC GREENS. Raw, they counter iodine in the Thyroid. Goitrogens can lead to DRY EYES, GOITERS, LOSS OF HAIR, WEIGHT gain. I am living proof. Goitrogenous greens are meant to be cooked. I eat shrimp/salmon/tuna (for iodine) with 2-3 brazil nuts for the selenium necessary to help the thyroid use the iodine properly. I am not a doctor or nutritionist; I learned from research.
